Thank you! I am learning to get a good grasp on good images, so I will probably continue to ask for more advice regarding images at here, regards.廣九直通車 (talk) 12:26, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

Is it worth fixing this?
This is a focus stacked image from a defunct water pumping station. There are a few blurry patches where the automated stacking didn't quite work. I think these are fixable, but would take effort to do so manually. Is it worth fixing, or is the composition just too cluttered? — Rhododendritestalk | 23:42, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
@Podzemnik: Thanks. I think I fixed them to the extent they're fixable last night and uploaded the new version just now. I'll give it a go at FPC and see what happens. There are still some issues with the image, of course, like noise and a couple areas I do wish were sharper.
For context, this was very dark space with a few harsh lights. I opted for a stack with narrow DOF+flash to avoid having ISO too high and decided to embrace the shadows with B&W... Curious if people have other ideas on what to do. — Rhododendritestalk | 22:28, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
@Rhododendrites: Pretty good. The only thing that came to my mind was that the bolts on the left are leaning right - shouldn't they be straight perhaps? I'm not sure. Otherwise just go for FPC :) --Podzemnik (talk) 23:42, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
