English: South Africa and Nigeria are both economic powerhouses on the African continent. But these two countries are grappling with an education crisis. Their schools are among the worst in the world. Now, google has granted education non-profit, Siyavula, 1.5 million dollars to provide free access to its online learning platforms for 300,000 students in South Africa and Nigeria. Joining VOA’s guest host Hayde Adams FitzPatrick live via Skype from Johannesburg, South Africa is Yogo Dubois, he's from the non-profit Siyavula. |
