Summary[edit]

Description
English: The impeachment process of President Donald Trump signifies “a democracy at work” in the United States. “You have to be accountable to the people who elect you,” says Shaka and talks about countries in Africa where this is not the case. “The three branches of government in the U.S.” and a lot of democratic countries "check and balance each other" and that is what is needed in Africa, he says.

Shaka: Extra Time is a weekly show (every Tuesday at 16:30 UTC) on the Straight Talk Africa Facebook page, where viewers and social media followers ask the popular Straight Talk Africa host, Shaka Ssali, questions about politics in Africa. Paul Ndiho hosts the show.
