Summary: On the wager that he will propose marriage to any girl selected by his fraternity brothers, Bill Pendleton finds himself making love to Mary Brainard, an old-fashioned girl who is secretly in love with him. Disillusioned upon discovering his deceit, she joins her missionary father in China, where the hero follows and rescues her from revolutionists.
