English: Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has in the space of a week written four letters on his Facebook page, addressing his so-called "grandchildren," referring to the country's youth as a term of affection and reminder of his authority. While the president's die-hard supporters still see him as a freedom fighter deserving of his three decades in power, many of the country's young population - who have known no other leader - see him as a patronizing, disconnected and aging ruler who is failing to address their concerns. |
